For years, every guide sent you north to Hilton Beach. The map has changed. Rising rents pushed Tel Aviv’s queer community south, and in 2026 the scene lives in Florentin — street-art lanes, neighbourhood bars, warehouse parties — with the city’s unofficial gay beach now at Aviv Beach, at the southern end of the promenade. The events calendar, from club nights to Pride warm-ups, runs almost entirely through the south, with the city centre around Rothschild as the second pole.
So here’s the honest 2026 advice: stay south for the scene, go north only if your trip is a classic beachfront holiday. Both lists below.

Tel Aviv Pride (June) is one of the largest in the world and hotels sell out months ahead. For Pride, book by February–March. The rest of the year, April–May and September–October give beach weather without peak prices.
